and founded Chesapeake
Communications, Inc. in 1989 as a
result of his experience. His core

Averman

Larry
Averman is Chesapeake's "chief" of
operations and plays a critical role
in managing the service department.
His attention to detail and
willingness to go the extra mile for
his customers makes him vital to
Chesapeake's ongoing growth and
success. Larry has over 30 years in
the telecommunications industry with
a heavy concentration in
technical/engineering and personnel
management positions.

Controller

Steve Geib
is Chesapeake's Controller and heads
up the Finance & Accounting
divisions for the company. Steve
joined the Chesapeake team in 1995
and brought with him over 20 years
of experience in finance.

Mr. Bill
Congleton
Operations
Manager,

Bill
Congleton is Chesapeake's Tidewater
Regional Manager and is responsible
for the operations of the Virginia
Beach, VA sales and service center.
Bill joined Chesapeake in 2002
bringing over 25 years experience as
a telephony professional. Bill has a
diversified background having been a
Technician, Staff Engineer, Director
of Sales and Operations manager.
Prior to joining Chesapeake, Bill
was Operations Manager for Atlantic
Telephone Systems (Virginia Beach,
VA), where he guided the company
into providing Computer Telephony
and Voice-Over-IP technologies.

Jackson

Manager

Steve
Jackson is Chesapeake's Sales
Manager for the Richmond, VA
corporate office. He is responsible
for sales and marketing operations,
and leads an experienced team of
sales executives dedicated to
serving the needs of the
Richmond-metro business community.
Steve joined Chesapeake
Communications in 2000, and has over
10 years experience in the
telecommunications industry. Steve
was employed with Comdial
Corporation, Inc. (Charlottesville,
VA) for 6 years as a Field Sales
Representative where he managed a
multi-state sales territory of voice
and data solutions providers. Steve
also has experience working for Key
Voice Technologies (Sarasota, FL), a
leading voicemail manufacturer,
prior to joining Chesapeake.

Jessie Coleman
Inside
Sales Manager (National Accounts)

Jessie Coleman joined the
Chesapeake team in 1990 to
head up the Inside Dealer
National Accounts
Department. Jessie entered
the telecommunications
industry in 1983, and has
experience prior to joining
Chesapeake in a
technical/dealer support
role. Jessie now has over 20
years experience in the
industry, and specializes in
Comdial/AT&T & Avaya
interconnect sales, support,
engineering and purchasing.
